Classis Pacific Northwest


Who We Are

Classis PNW is a community of Christian Reformed Churches in Western Washington and Alaska, working together in shared regional ministries, encouraging one another in our calling to build and maintain strong, vibrant local churches. Our regular meetings are the first Thursday and Friday of March and the first Thursday of October. Special meetings are called as needed. 


March Meeting at Warm Beach

Once again Classis PNW  met at Warm Beach Camp near Stanwood, WA for our spring meeting. We were joined by Rev. Al Postma, Classis Renewal Consultant. The official minutes are available by clicking on the link below. Our next meeting is scheduled for October 1, 2020.


Safe Church Training Event

Who: All Classis Safe Church Team members, local safe church teams, council members (at least one from each congregation), pastors, other church staff and volunteers

When: Saturday, March 28, 2020

Where: New Hope Fellowship

Time: Prayer time and coffee – 9:30 am

10 am – 4 pm including lunch (included when you register…so we know you are coming)

Atonement Summit

In June 2018 we held a seminar focused on the doctrine of the Atonement with the hope of deepen our understanding of the theology of the atonement as well as consider ways in which to communicate the riches of this theology in our local ministry settings. Safe Church

We are committed to keeping all our churches safe places. Our Safe Church Team provides training for church leaders and workers, consulting on policies and procedures, and maintains a trained team to help local churches deal appropriately with allegations of potential abuse.  Click here to access our online resource page and contact information.
